Cursor effects when used properly can enhace your tutorials helping your students follow what your teaching.

Cursor effects only work with Camtasia Recordings (Trec) files and therefore you cannot use them on a Video (Mp4, Avi, WMV, MOV) that has cursor movements.

Some best practices of using cursor effects include:
– Avoid rapid cursor movements
– Use an average-sized cursor effect to avoid distracting your audience.
– Add cursor effects to your screen recording in the timeline before making any edits.

I hope this video will help someone learn how to use cursor effects in engaging and enhance their Camtasia tutorials.
