In this video, I’m going to show you How to Extract or Download Subtitles or Captions from a Wistia Video. I’ll also show you how to convert the subtitle to plain text.
Wistia is a popular video hosting platform and just like YouTube, there’s no direct way to download subtitles. The alternative involves inspecting code which is pretty easy.
Wistia hosts subtitles in the captions track and for this video the subtitle file is WEBVTT (.vtt subtitle) which is a basic subtitle format.
